Weekly To-Do List: August 3, 2009


This week I have a whole new list of goals that I am pretty excited about. I try to limit them to, at most, six because I feel it is more likely that I will follow through with all of them.  The more goals, the more overwhelming the tasks become.  So here is my list of six  . . . and don't forget to tell us what your goals are this week!

YDo my new MTV Yoga dvd at least 3 times
YFinish my book (Do You! by Russell Simmons)
YFind the furniture I am going to buy for my room makeover
YPlan out a weekly menu to get back on track with healthy eating
YTakes photos of all my clothing and post on Closet Couture
YWrite a guest post to generate traffic to my blog

I am placing a big focus on getting back to healthy habits this week, mainly because I have been out of control lately.  I have stopped exercising completely this summer and have been eating more and more unhealthy foods.  It's time to take care of myself again! I have high hopes for this week . . . we'll see how it goes!

PS- It's probably obvious by now that I love to plan things and make lists.  I actually came up with another plan for my future today, and it's a pretty big one.  I have decided to stop drinking alcohol (except for wine with dinner occasionally) until Christmas. This is going to be a challenge for me, mainly because I think drinking is fun.  But ultimately, I know how bad it is for my body.  I feel it every time I drink.  So goodbye alcohol, you were good to me while you lasted!! Let the adventure begin :). . .
